Who is in your Tribe? My brother Stone (@lifeofarolline_stone)
What do you do when you are not surfing all day? I play the Ukulele and dance ballet. I study Japanese as a second language and I am in a Japanese school.
What is a Grom? Energetic kids who have fun.
What moves are you working on this week? Well, I tried a backside reverse the other day and it was really cool.
What is your favorite thing about the ocean? It is really hard to name a favorite. In the winter, the North Shore is really great for surfing and in the summer the rocks at Waimea are fun to jump off.
Early morning offshore or Afternoon glass off? I love the afternoon because I like to watch the sunset and surf until dark when mom and dad let me.
Dream Trip? The Kelly Slater wave pool with my family and friends.
Post surf Grinds? Acai to go and Natto.
Inspirations in or out of the water? My family. I have a lot of fun when we do things together, especially going surfing as a family.
Where do you want to be in 2020? I want to be right here on the North Shore surfing. I will be 10 years old and in 5th grade.
Wave Pools or the Ocean? I love the ocean, but I want to surf Kelly Slater's wave pool sooooo bad. It looks so fun and perfect size for me.
What is your first memory of the ocean? My Dad took me surfing for the first time at Puaena Point when I was 2 years old. I was screaming for my mom when I stood up on my first wave my dad rode with me. It was really fun.
