What do you do when you are not surfing all day? I have been training Taekwondo for some time now. It teaches me discipline, strength training and it is a great outlet. I also love to play the guitar and ukulele. I have been playing them both for about 5 years and I like to play old school acoustic Johnny Cash and Jack Johnson.
What moves are you working on this week? I really love to surf with power and on my rail. We have had some waves recently and I like to go hard off the bottom and add some flare going into my opening move. Having a great power source helps everything in surfing.
What is your favorite thing about the ocean? I honestly love it because it is a place where you can relax and forget about all your problems. It solves all of your worries and keeps you stoked.
Early morning offshore or Afternoon glass off? Ahh man, I just did both today and I can't choose a favorite. They are both great and any day in the ocean is a good day.
Dream Trip? I would love to surf one of the longest left-handers in the world Chicama in Peru or the Arctic Circle. I enjoy surfing in cold water and it would be a dream to spend some time in these places surfing and traveling around the coastline.
Inspirations? I would say keeping a positive outlook on life every day is a huge drive and inspiration. I love to surround myself with great friends and my family to keep me inspired on the daily.
